    (Encyclopedia of this Day News | [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ) - Twilight News / announced that the Iraqi Ministry ofElectricity on Saturday, study electrical activation of a project to link with the State of Kuwait.

    "The ministry is considering a proposal for a bilateral electricity link project with Kuwait, which includes the rehabilitation of a gas pipeline that was built between the two countries and is currently suspended," the ministry's spokesman Musab al-Mudaras said, stressing the agreement on the basis of energy exchange between the two countries. Equip it with power.

    He added that the ministry agreed with the Kuwaiti side that the extension of the lines between the two countries for the transfer of energy, pointing out that Kuwait will start its implementation of the carrier lines to the borders of Iraq, while the ministry will extend to the borders of Kuwait.

    He noted that in the intention to activate the project after the completion of the above mentioned works to be provided to the country with a capacity of up to 300 MW.
