Shafaq News / Sexual crime shaking the Iranian society, the victims of high school students west of the capital Tehran.
According to official Iranian media, a teacher at a secondary school for boys presented pornographic material to some 40 students and possibly sexually assaulted them.
Parents of 15 students filed a complaint against the school principal who said they had shown their children pornographic films from their mobile phone and forced students to practice sodomy.
Some students who have been sexually abused receive psychological treatment for the "severe psychological harm" they have been subjected to, according to Iranian newspapers.
The prosecutor in Tehran, Abbas Jafari, said the defendant admitted to having sex videos on his phone to send them to the students, but denied the rest of the charges against him that relate to assaulting them.
One of the journalists posted a video of the accused, 29-year-old Mohammed Haerizadeh, during his arrest, with a number of students who had been accused. But he replied that it was "a joke."
The student's father said the defendant was drinking liquor and showing them sex movies in the mosque.
"The regulatory body in the region has decided to temporarily close the school on the back of the case," said Nasser Khohestani, director of education in Tehran.
Alireza Rahbima, head of public relations at the Education Ministry, said the headmaster had been suspended for two years.
    It
was rare to detect such incidents in Iran. This was the shock in Iran's Shalaa, and this was reflected in social media questions that drew criticism from Iranian officials and accused them of negligence in stopping harassment and sexual abuse.
Iranian activists on Twitter launched a Persian language called "student rape", expressing their anger at the backward educational system that led to such crimes.
"The best way to deal with sexual abuse of children and adolescents is to encourage them not to be silent in the event of such an incident. Those who want to cancel education and condone the defense of victims must comment on the incident," she said.
"The important advice for the United Nations' sustainable development program, comprehensive sexual education, is that this kind of culture is capable of reforming the educational process."
Another source said that "the Ministry of Education is obliged to take care of the mental health of students rather than taking other decisions."
    Previous incidents
The leader Ali Khamenei, has been strongly criticized previously, because of accusations of one of the Koran readers close to him, called Said Tusi.
Tusi is known for his state-sponsored concerts attended by senior officials. He was acquitted by the court in January of charges of sexually assaulting two boys he was teaching after being sentenced to four years in prison.
Reformist MP Mahmoud Sadeghi commented on Twitter, describing the verdict as "unjust" and "protecting someone because he is close to Khamenei."
Tusi has been accused of raping 19 students over the past years, ranging in age from 12 to 14 years.
