    Direct : I started today the United States and China in the implementation of new tariffs on mutual imports between the two countries worth $ 16 billion in a move that announces the continuation of the trade dispute between the two largest economies in the world.
    US tariffs of up to 25 percent include up to 279 products identified by the US Trade Representative.
    The tariff list includes semiconductors, chemicals, motorcycles and electric.
    The United States applied customs tariffs on imports from China worth $ 34 billion last July.
    As for Beijing, it also began to apply additional tariffs on imports from the United States, which also amount to $ 16 billion.
    China's tariff list includes steel products, automobiles and medical equipment, according to a declaration from the State Council's tariff committee. 
    The United States and China began trade talks with an average trade representation level after the two-month standoff, without much hope from investors.
