The source said in a statement that "the number of deputies present at the resumed meeting did not exceed 125 deputies, therefore, [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/137/%D9%85%D8%AC%D9%84%D8%B3 %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%86%D9%88%D8%A7%D8%A8]the House of Representatives[/url] is unable to elect a [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] his deputies for the fourth session, because of the lack of quorum of half + one."
He added that "the six candidates for the presidency of parliament, not elected one of them if the political parties do not agree on a candidate to take the presidency of parliament," pointing out that "the first deputy will be the share of the Shiite parties and the second share of the Kurdish parties."
