    The Russian orientalist, Victor Nadine Raivsky, said that American sanctions against Iran would lead to a deterioration in the lives of Iranians and caused demonstrations, adding that the goal of sanctions is to change power in Tehran.

    He also pointed to the possibility of renewed popular protests in Iran, as in the presidency of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of the country, and said that Iran has also seen high gasoline prices, and before that the prices of gasoline in Iran is very low. The government was forced by the lack of funds to abandon this support, and was forced to give up bread subsidies to the country's population. 
    He said that the American side funds the work of terrorist organizations in Iranian territory, primarily the "People's Mujahideen," expressing his belief that these American efforts will continue.
