    US national security adviser [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/43788/%D8%AC%D9%88%D9%86 %D8%A8%D9%88%D9%84%D8%AA%D9%88%D9%86]John Bolton said[/url] on Friday that his country encouraged an agreement between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government to resume oil exports from disputed Kirkuk fields between Arbil and Baghdad.
    Bolton said today that the agreement between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi government was encouraged to partially resume Kirkuk oil exports.
    "This agreement is a promising first step to return to 2017 levels of Kirkuk oil exports," he said. "Lost revenue could provide services to the Iraqi people."
