The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Hamid Younis, on Thursday, the ministry's keenness to develop gas investment projects associated with the production of crude oil and access to the planned targets and stop wasting and burning gas in all producing fields, pointing to the ministry seeks to achieve 2000 Muqmq / In Basra Gas Company.
"In the past few years, Iraq has achieved significant achievements in the field of producing liquid gas to meet the local need for consumption of the material and to go to the field of export to this article in addition to the export of condensate (natural kerosene) Basrah gas ".
He added that "this comes within the ministry's efforts to increase financial revenues in support of the federal budget, as the company has achieved revenues of more than half a billion dollars."
The agent pointed out that "the ministry and through the projects that are implemented to invest gas associated with the Gas Company in Basra working to achieve the target production rates according to the strategic plans to reach the investment (2000) million cubic feet standard day from fields (Rumaila, Zubair, West Qurna 1) "He said.
"The company's investment rate currently stands at (900) million standard cubic feet per day, and we will reach a rate of (1050) million standard cubic feet per day by the end of 2018," Yunus said. Ending / 25
