The Council of the province of Dhi Qar, Friday, a group of areas located within the marshes and represents a fertile land for tourism investment, indicating that the Marshlands are experiencing a great recovery in the water and can be exploited tourism.
A member of the provincial council, Shahid al-Ghalbi said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "the marshes have recovered after heavy rainfall during the winter, and there is a dialogue with Maysan governorate to open the dams for the water from Hawr al-Hawizah to Hawr al-Hammar.
