Iraq and the Netherlands signed an agreement Monday to regulate tax work to facilitate the entry of companies investing in the country.
"This agreement regulates the tax work between the two countries and serves the investment sector by providing the necessary facilities for Dutch companies to come to the country," Finance Minister Fouad Hussein told a joint news conference with the deputy head of the mission of the Netherlands embassy in Iraq after the signing of the agreement.
Hussein added that "the conclusion of an economic agreement with the UAE last week, need to be ratified by the Iraqi Council of Representatives to enter into force."
He pointed out that "Iraq will conclude in the future more economic agreements with other countries," explaining that "any agreement concluded positively reflected on the Kurdistan region and Iraq all."
