Washington is ready to negotiate with Iran on the nuclear deal 12e19b8e-569b-4025-9bf0-94ae665a2914-2-1024x674-780x405

US Vice President Mike Pens said Washington was not seeking war with Iran and was ready to negotiate with Tehran over its nuclear program, but would not back down on its positions.
Bens said in a statement on Monday that the United States hopes for the best, and the US armed forces are ready to protect the country and its interests and citizens.
He added: "Iran should not translate the American restraint as a lack of resolve," stressing that "the United States is not seeking a war with Iran. We want dialogue and are ready to listen, but America will not retreat. "
This statement comes after the announcement by the US president that Iran will never have nuclear weapons, urging it to be cautious, after Tehran announced the lifting of uranium enrichment above the level specified in the nuclear agreement .
While US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Iran's continued development of its nuclear program would expose it to further sanctions and isolation.
