(BAGHDAD: Al-Furat News) Trade Minister Mohammed Hashim Al-Ani discussed with Kuwaiti Ambassador Salem Ghassab Al-Zamanan increasing the volume of trade exchange and the upcoming meeting to discuss a working paper between the two countries.
A statement issued by the ministry, received (Euphrates News) a copy, that "during the meeting discussed files and topics related to the promotion and development of trade relations and increase the volume of trade exchange between the two countries."
Al-Ani stressed during the meeting, "Iraq is keen to implement the government program and proceed in a new trade policy to open up to global and Arab markets, including Kuwait, to benefit and exchange experiences and enter into joint agreements that serve their common interests."
He pointed to "the depth of fraternal relations between Iraq and Kuwait, which constitute an incentive for the two countries to strengthen and consolidate relations at the economic, commercial and investment level."
For his part, the Kuwaiti ambassador , " an ambitious country that the economic and trade ties are sophisticated and spacious , with Iraq in all fields and the importance of joint exchange visits to develop a common vision to activate trade relations and increase the volume of trade exchange and to serve the interests of both countries.
The statement continued , " it is expected to be a meeting to discuss A working paper in the presence of a group of officials and businessmen. "
