IRBIL (Kurdistan 24) - The leader of the victory coalition criticized former Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, the exemption of the head of the counter-terrorism forces Abdul Wahab al-Saadi from his post, hinting that what happened is part of the "sale of positions."
Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi referred General Saadi to the Directorate of Command in the Ministry of Defense, which was met by a political and popular reaction.
Saadi told Kurdistan 24 on Friday that referring him to the "command" is not easy for him in return for his service to the counter-terrorism service.

And Abadi said on his account in Twitter , "So what reward state fighters who defended the homeland ..!" He pointed out that "there are contexts to change or rotate military and security sites, but it must be on the basis of professionalism and not to compromise those who came to the people and the country in difficult days."
"Has the sale of positions reached the military and security establishment?"
Abdul Wahab actively participated in most of the ground battles that lasted for nearly three years against ISIS, especially the Mosul liberation war.
Former defense minister Khalid al-Ubaidi dismissed al-Saadi as "unfair".
"The way in which ... was excluded ... (Saadi) raises more than a question mark about the way the military establishment is run in Iraq," said Obaidi, who won a parliamentary seat in the last election.
He said in a statement that the resolution "is unfair to the Iraqi military," and said he believed that "the most cheering and winners of freezing the capabilities of one of the symbols of the victory of Iraq, such as the Saadi team for the performance of its duties to protect his country and its people, are terrorists and Daesh and outlaws of the state."
Previously, Iraqi sources said that the decision to transfer Saadi to the Directorate of the Order was at the request of the commander of the anti-terrorism agency Taleb Shaghati.
Kurdistan 24 had no access to Shaghati for comment.
Al-Saadi is the first graduate of the Military College and is the first in its course, and graduated in military ranks until he is transferred to the counter-terrorism agency.
Then he became the chief of staff of the counter-terrorism forces and then the commander of the forces of the agency, which receives intensive training by the Americans to represent the elite force in Iraq.
