Former Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa al-Araji, on Thursday, considered the speech of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi to be delivered today as the beginning of resolving the crisis.
Araji said in a statement received (Mawazine News), a copy, that "the contents of the prime minister's speech to be delivered today, which was announced by his office, the beginning of resolving the crisis, although it came late, and therefore the prime minister must pledge to make possible reforms within a specified time limit."
He added, "On the contrary, his government to resign, and at the same time on all political blocs, even those that disagree with him, support him for the implementation of reforms."
Al-Araji pointed out that "let everyone know that today's crisis is not only a government but a crisis of a political system that disappointed its people and failed to achieve its ambitions."
