    Foreign Minister Muhammad Ali al-Hakim discussed, on Saturday, with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan the developments of what is known as the "deal of the century", calling for the necessity of coming out with a unified Arab position to support the rights of the Palestinian people.
    The ministry said, in a statement received (information), a copy of it, that "Foreign Minister Muhammad Ali al-Hakim met with Faisal bin Farhan, the Saudi foreign minister, and discussed during the consultative meeting between the two countries on the sidelines of the emergency ministerial meeting of the League of Arab States, the developments of the Palestinian issue, and the so-called (Deal of the Century), and its effects on the Palestinian people and the region.
    They also discussed, according to the statement, "the importance of the emergency meeting of the Arab League Council resulting in a united position to defend the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people."
