Al-Shammari: The forces of the power equation are trying to push the army to clash with the demonstrators

The head of the Center for Political Thinking, Ihsan al-Shammari, confirmed that there are attempts to push the army into collision with the demonstrators and create a gap between him, after a strongly worded statement by the Ministry of Defense in which its forces urged to take their real and firm role towards those who "want to tamper with the country's security and stability", she said.
Al-Shammari said in a press statement, "The forces of the power equation are trying to push the army to clash with the demonstrators and create a gap between it and the protesters, and therefore it will bear the consequences of all the casualties that occurred."
He explained, "The political forces controlling the authority are continuing to try to end the protests."
He pointed out that "there are political parties that do not support this proposal, such as the victory bloc, patriotism and wisdom to some extent."
He added that "engaging the army in a confrontation with the protesters is a dangerous violation of the constitution, and it is not within its powers to deal with the protests and it should not be a tool for repression", adding that "the battle with the people is not until the army enters, even if the hypothesis of the existence of true infiltrators!"
