The invitation raised the amazement and resentment of a number of deputies, according to parliamentary sources, stressing their refusal to accept the invitation, while some attacked the Prime Minister-designate, stressing the need to "understand the role of deputies, and that they do not work under his command."
For their part, the Christian deputies announced the boycott of Allawi's call to display the cabinet, according to a statement issued by them, in which they said, "The representatives of the Christian component received the invitation of the appointed president of all deputies to his home to display his cabinet booth, and we say to the da'i: pay back with thanks."
"Who allowed the deputies of the Christian component to be excluded from the decision regarding their representative in the cabinet? We are not asking that you choose a partisan or subordinate figure, but rather that you choose at least a personality that Christians know and who are known for their concern for their rights."
And the guarantor continued, "What is the guarantor of not going through as previously intended misdeeds that increase our westernization within our homeland. At a time when Iraq lives a historical crossroads in its political life, and on the echo of the people's voice, you continue with the process of raising awareness and defrauding norms, we will all boycott, as we will work to ensure We are well represented, if you think that you are insulting us or that we are a minority, then we are our homeland and the truth. "
The Alliance of Forces officially announced the government of Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, while the Kurdish delegation confirmed the failure of its negotiations with the Prime Minister-designate on the cabinet.

Allawi's method of advocacy angered a number of MPs, affirming their refusal to fulfill them

These developments come with the approaching date that the Prime Minister-designate requested to present his government to Parliament next Monday, February 24th, which may mean diminishing the chances of Mohammed Allawi obtaining confidence.
