On Saturday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee held a meeting with representatives of political forces to finally agree on the draft federal budget bill for the current year .
A parliamentary source said, "The Finance Committee in the Iraqi Parliament held a meeting moments ago that included representatives of political forces, to agree to formulate the last proposals in the draft federal budget law for 2021. "
And left the Iraqi Council of Representatives, at its scheduled meeting today, Saturday, to vote on the federal budget for 2021 open, due to the lack of a formal political agreement to vote on the budget law .
On Friday, the House of Representatives was scheduled to hold a session to vote on the General Budget Law for 2021, but differences between the political blocs prevented this, so the Presidency of Parliament decided to postpone the vote until Saturday, to complete discussions between the MPs and the Finance Committee.
