Trade: direct processing of the unified Ramadan session

On Friday, the Ministry of Trade announced the launch of the preparation plan for the "complete" ration card items of rice, edible oil, sugar and flour for the month of Ramadan in Baghdad and the provinces.
"The Minister of Trade, Alaa Al-Jubouri, personally supervised the processing mechanisms for food agents in the Sadr City sector and the delivery centers of Imam Ali and Al-Rusafa," the ministry's media said in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News.
He added, "The minister met with the processing agents in the region and stressed the importance of delivering the ration card items to the citizens as soon as possible through a comprehensive processing plan supervised by the control teams in coordination with local governments and notables in the regions."
The statement continued, "Al-Jubouri inspected the Rusafa complex for processing the ration card items and examined in the field the processing of citizens, met the agents and demanded that all obstacles that hinder the agents and citizens receive their rations be lifted, and also inspected the stores of fragmentation and thirst and also examined the processes of preparing citizens, and stressed the importance of starting the preparation for families. Included in the items of the ration card, the minister also visited a number of processing agents in the region and was briefed directly on the processing operations.
Al-Jubouri stressed, according to the statement, that "the Ministry of Trade, based on the directives of the Prime Minister, will continue to supply the ration card items during and after the month of Ramadan and go ahead with making contracts to purchase and prepare the ration card items very quickly through the direct purchase method after the ministry's exception from Governmental instructions. "
