    A statement by the National Security Adviser, the Euphrates News Agency received a copy of it today, stated that “Al-Araji was accompanied by a large delegation from the Ministry of Defense, in the presence of the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, the Commander of the Land Force, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations, the Director of Military Intelligence, and the Deputy Commander of the Air Force.
    He stated that "the security delegation visited the air base in all its sections, and listened to a briefing from the commander of Balad Air Force Base, Major General Pilot Dia Al-Saadi, about the work of the base and its divisions."
    According to the statement, Al-Araji stressed that the talk about the presence of foreign combat forces in Balad Air Base is inaccurate, rather there are foreign civilian companies working to train Iraqis in the field of aircraft maintenance, and they exist according to official contracts with Iraq, adding: We must support the existence of this base. To continue efforts to fight ISIS terrorist, and we must support the security services of all kinds, to maintain internal security and enhance Iraq's position internally and externally.
    He pointed out that, "accompanied by the delegation, he met with foreign companies operating at Balad Air Base, stressing that these companies provide service to the Iraqi side, and they operate according to Iraqi official contracts. Al-Araji also met a large number of Iraqi youths present at the base, who have trained and gained experience from these companies to maintain A large number of Iraqi aircraft.
