The Higher Education and Scientific Research Committee in the House of Representatives confirmed, today, Sunday, that the names of the first graduates will be sent to the Federal Public Service Council by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, while it has determined the graduates who will be included in the appointments.
A member of the Parliamentary Education Committee, Riyad Al-Masoudi, said in a statement to the official agency, followed by Al-Naba, that "the law for appointing the first students has been activated, and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has sent a letter to all its formations to list the names of graduates, their specializations and the years of graduation for morning and evening studies separately."
He added, "The names of the first graduates have been pushed to the Federal Service Council to take its role in determining the numbers and allocating the functional and financial cycles so that the process proceeds smoothly," stressing that "the appointments will include the first graduates from the year 2016-2017 to the year 2019-2020".
For his part, spokesman for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Haider Al-Aboudi, told the official news agency, followed by Al-Naba, that "the Federal Service Council appoints the first students in coordination with the relevant ministries and the Ministry of Finance, which in turn provides financial cover and job grades." It takes its role in elaborating administrative details in coordination with the Ministry of Finance. "
He added that "the Ministry of Higher Education has high coordination with the Federal Service Council and has a database regarding early graduates and past years, and it provides data according to the books we receive from the Federal Service Council."
