Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP, Ihsan al-Awadi, of the State of Law Coalition accused the Minister of Finance, Rafi al-Esawi, of leading sectarian demonstrations that aim at toppling the political process.
He stated to IraqiNews.com “There will not be any construction as hoped as long as the political process is hurdled by the Minister of Finance, who is supposed to be a vital support for the construction in the country, leads demonstrations to topple constitution and the political process.”
“Though the Minister of Finance is responsible for planning and upgrading the economy and the services in the country, he is launching sectarian statements that are against the interests of Iraq daily,” he stressed.
“We do not think that is planning to consolidate the citizens’ interests and we rule out any hope to progress the services if case the situation continues like this,” he concluded.
