"Media propaganda"... Representatives underestimate Al-Kazemi's seriousness about distributing land... How will the government respond?

On Saturday, the Parliamentary Services and Reconstruction Committee questioned the Iraqi government’s announcement, headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi, to distribute “plots of land” to citizens.
Committee member Abbas Al-Atafi said, “The government’s announcement of distributing plots of land to citizens is part of its media propaganda, as is the case with many steps and decisions that were not implemented in reality, but were implemented in the media and statements with the aim of calculating some of the government’s fictitious achievements.”
He added that “the Iraqi parliament supports and encourages any government decision that is in the interest of the citizens through the distribution of plots of land or others, but the land decision is difficult to implement, especially since it is not serviced lands prepared,” noting that “the existing lands lack infrastructure such as water, sewage and electricity, Even if distributed, it will not solve the housing crisis, as it is uninhabitable lands, as it is without basic services.”
