The Cabinet Secretariat issues new recommendations regarding the city of Ur

{Local: Efrat News} The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi, approved a number of new recommendations, issued during the sixth session of the committee concerned with (the development of ideas and plans for the project to develop and rehabilitate the ancient city of Ur).
A statement by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, of which the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy, stated that “the recommendations included that the Dhi Qar Governorate provide the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers with statements that include the amount of special funds; to establish the infrastructure for the project within two days of the date of the session, and coordination between The governorate and the relevant committee regarding the green belt of the tourist city of Ur, in cooperation with the Dhi Qar Governorate Municipalities Department.
He added, "The recommendations also included that the Ministry of Culture expedite contracting with specialized companies to develop the ancient city for the purpose of launching financial allocations after contracting them."
