The Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced, on Sunday, the issuance of recommendations from the Ministerial Council for Human Development to support the talented category, appoint them centrally, and develop the educational reality.
And the secretariat stated in a statement received / information / that "the Ministerial Council for Human Development, in its fourth regular session for the current year 2023, headed by Minister of Health Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, discussed a number of topics included in the meeting's agenda, which included several files, most notably: Activating the Cabinet Resolution (161 of the year 2008), and a draft law to encourage reading, develop knowledge, and develop the educational reality, as well as discuss the subject of study at the expense of government institutions.
The Council voted, approving the "recommendations of the consultative meeting concerned with activating Cabinet Resolution (161 of 2008) to support the talented category of Iraqi students, approving their central appointment, and approving the goals and proposals of the Ministry of Education with regard to developing the educational reality.”
He also voted to "form a committee headed by the advisor of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and the membership of the Ministries of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports, with the rank of Director General, to consider the proposals of the relevant ministries and authorities regarding presenting initiatives to encourage reading and knowledge development.” Ended/25h
