    His Excellency the President of the Republic Fuad Masum, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad on Wednesday, 06/08/2014, Under Italian Foreign Minister Mr. Abu Bastyli.

    At the outset of the meeting, congratulated Mr. President Bastyli infallible on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic.

    During the meeting, talk about the general situation in Iraq, and the role they can play in the region and across the infallible President of Iraq's aspiration to develop its relationship with Italy as an important country, Iraq is seeking to establish cooperative relations with them in the interest of the peoples of both countries.

    President infallible receives Ambassador of the European Union mission

    His Excellency the President of the Republic Fuad Masum, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad on Wednesday, 06/08/2014, Ambassador of the European Commission Delegation to Iraq Yana Hapaschkova.

    Ms. Hapaschkova congratulations, on behalf of the President of the European Commission and the President of the European Council, the President on his election as President of the Republic, and expressed the desire of the EU countries in support of President infallible, and support for stability and peace in Iraq, pointing out that the presence of the ambassadors of EU countries in Baghdad underlines the importance of relations between the EU countries and Iraq and seeking to develop them.

    The President thanked the infallible leaders of the EU countries on their attitudes positive from Iraq and support the democratic experiment, and expressed his aspiration of Iraq to build relationships wider with the European Union, and the willingness of Iraq to the development prospects of cooperation Bmtkhalaf areas, stressing the need for Iraq to support and assist the EU security and professionally, especially in stage In light of the current critical situation through which Iraq currently.
