, the head of the State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, considered, on Monday, that the current political crisis is a result of the "confusion of balance" left by the results of the elections that took place on the tenth of last October.
A statement received by Mawazine News stated that Al-Hakim met with the Egyptian Ambassador, Walid Muhammad Ismail, indicating that the two parties discussed "ways to strengthen bilateral relations between Baghdad and Cairo, and developments in the Iraqi and regional political affairs."
Al-Hakim referred, according to the statement, to "Egypt's position in the region and its role in resolving differences and giving priority to the language of dialogue."
On the political issue, Al-Hakim said that "the current crisis was the result of the confusion of balance left by the results of the recent elections, and that restoring the balance to its normal state is enough to dismantle this crisis." Ended 29/N33
