Member of Parliament, Suhaila Al-Sultani, warned, on Monday, of a major scheme that Masoud Barzani seeks to win over three provinces.

Al-Sahlani said in a statement to the "Information" agency, that "there is a grand scheme that Barzani seeks to include the provinces of Nineveh, Kirkuk and Khanaqin in Diyala province into the Kurdistan region," noting that "Barzani is procrastinating Baghdad to win three provinces and declare his victory."
She added that "the region was an essential part of the delay in forming the government," noting that "it seeks to achieve special interests by putting pressure on Baghdad with the tripartite alliance paper."
She pointed out, "The necessity of keeping Kirkuk governorate away from the political negotiating table, as it is a sensitive governorate and its security situation has improved well."
The PKK earlier accused the Democratic Party of cooperating with Turkish forces to spread chaos in the provinces of Nineveh and Kirkuk.
