Despite the announcement of the Finance Committee, reaching the final stages of discussions for the Emergency Support Law for Food Security and Development, there are many blocs that continued their attack on it.
The Shiite blocs that fall under the coordination framework reject the draft law, arguing that it legitimizes corruption and waste of public money, and that the best thing is to pass the budget bill.

Commenting on this, the former director of the Financial Supervision Bureau, Salah Nouri, said, "The Food Security Law is another aspect of the public budget."
Nouri said in an interview with “Mawazine News” that “the naming of the law depends on food and everything related to the citizen’s food except by looking at the law. It contains investment projects and exchange doors that cannot be dealt with according to the Financial Management Law 12/1, and it is another aspect of the budget after it The law could not be passed."
