    Economy News - Baghdad
On Thursday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken considered the step taken by Saudi Arabia and OPEC + to reduce oil production by two million barrels, as "extremely regrettable and caused by a deep miscalculation."
Blinken added, "The decision of Saudi Arabia and OPEC + and the resulting rise in oil prices help increase Putin's revenues," adding that "the timing of reducing oil production is very wrong as we seek to restore economic growth."
And the US Secretary of State indicated that "Saudi Arabia's behavior in this case is not in line with the actions of an ally, but we have multiple interests in it."
