    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Independent MP Sajjad Salem confirmed today, Saturday, that the second reading of the draft amendment to the election law will proceed during the parliament session, which is scheduled to be held today.
Salem told (Baghdad Today) that "independent deputies inside the parliament have many observations about the paragraphs of the draft amendment to the election law," noting that "these points will be raised and discussed during the parliament session, especially since the discussion and amendment to the law takes place after reading the second".
He added, "The second reading of the draft amendment to the election law may take place during the parliament session, which is scheduled to be held today."
The member of the House of Representatives indicated that "the agreement to boycott the session by independent representatives and emerging political forces has not been reached yet, and for this reason the second reading will proceed in order to present our observations and work to amend the paragraphs of the law in the coming days."
It is hoped that the House of Representatives will hold its session today, according to what was announced by the Parliament's Media Department.
The Parliamentary Media Department published the agenda of the sessions for the next Saturday, Monday and Tuesday .
The agendas included voting and reading of many bills and reading and discussing reports.
