The exchange rate of the dollar against the dinar rose, on Sunday evening, in the "parallel market" for foreign currency in the capital, Baghdad.
The selling price recorded 157 thousand and 750 dinars, while the purchase amounted to 156 thousand and 750 dinars.
The selling prices of the dollar this morning recorded 1525 dinars, while the buying prices of the dollar recorded 1520 dinars.
It is noteworthy that the Central Bank of Iraq decided earlier to adjust the exchange rate of the dollar against the Iraqi dinar, as the price of buying a dollar from the Ministry of Finance reached 1300 dinars per dollar and sold it at (1310) dinars per dollar to banks through the electronic platform, and it is sold at (1320). One dinar for each dollar from banks and non-bank financial institutions to the final beneficiary.
