    On Sunday, the Minister of Electricity, Ziyad Ali Fadel, held a technical meeting in which he discussed the procedures that were prepared as a plan for preparing hours for citizens in the holy month (Ramadan).
    The meeting included, according to a statement by the ministry, "studying the produced loads and the necessity of distributing them to the governorates in a way that achieves appropriate hours, and reviewing the reality of the generating units and their readiness for each station, and adapting its work to the available gas and fuel available to sustain the momentum of the system's work."
    The minister instructed both the "technical department and the follow-up committees to monitor large units with high loads to prevent any separation or stoppage of them, and maximum attention to their generation, and to study the loads of the regions separately, and to follow up on bottleneck treatments and completion of faults according to the responsibility sectors in Baghdad, the middle Euphrates, the north and the south, and then Taking care of an actual reality that improves processing hours.
    And he discussed "the generation mechanism in the hydroelectric stations, and instructed the concerned departments to activate coordination with the Ministry of Water Resources to increase water releases in proportion to the operation of the units of those stations and to increase their production."
