Baghdad - Mawazine News,
the representative of the Sadiqoon Bloc, Ali Turki Al-Jamali, called, on Tuesday, for the need to resolve the deficit file in the budget, as well as the price of a barrel of oil exported across the region, before proceeding with the budget legislation.
Al-Jamali said, in an interview reported by his party's media, that "the situation of the Iraqi individual cannot bear that there will be taxes and financial deductions from his salary or income within the federal general budget."
He added, "The budget has a deficit that exceeds 60 trillion dinars, and this amount constitutes 40 percent of the total budget, as resorting to internal and external borrowing will constitute a real problem for the country."
And he indicated that "the other problem lies in the oil revenues of 450,000 barrels exported across the region, which are added to the budget, but a discount is needed for the price of a barrel, especially since the oil companies are in the region, and the price of a barrel for these companies may differ from the $70 price that licensing tour companies operate with in Other provinces" finished 29 / h
