    At a time when thousands of citizens in various specializations demonstrate and sit-in to demand jobs that support them and their families, there are equal numbers of aliens and fictitious names through which the state’s treasury is being depleted without interest for the country. The government's seriousness in dealing with the judicial file was the main reason for not completing it during the last period. Another asserted that resolving the alien file would necessarily lead to resolving the unemployment file and the demonstrations demanding appointment without assigning any additional money to the state.

     He stressed that "the government in any case actually wanted to deal with this file, as it can achieve this by activating the biometric card for every employee in the Iraqi state, and at that time there will be an integrated database on the actual number of employees, which establishes a suitable ground for processing the sums allocated for salaries," noting that "we are in a state of processing "The file of the aliens, then we will have thousands of job grades through which we can respond to the demands of the demonstrators demanding jobs in various sectors without costing the state treasury any additional sums."

    member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, Jamal Cougar, believed that the government's lack of seriousness in dealing with the thorny alien file was the main reason for not completing it during the last period, indicating that the government's procedures in dealing with the alien file are very weak.
     
    Cougar said in an interview with Alsumaria News, "The government does not have an accurate database on the number of state employees, and this case means that the possibility of the presence of aliens is very large, which was approved by the Minister of Finance, who indicated in press statements that the number of aliens is between 200- 300 thousand employees, "noting that" the lowest salary in the Iraqi state is 500 thousand dinars, and if this salary is multiplied by 200,000 space employees as a minimum, the number will be very large. "
     
    Cougar added, "The government's actions in dealing with the file of the aliens are very weak, considering that it is a temporary government, and thus thorny files need a comprehensive database, which we believe will proceed gradually through the activation of the Federal Service Council," pointing out that "Aliens are present in most ministries and independent bodies, but proportionally between one ministry and another."
     
    He pointed out that "in the 2019 budget, we worked to add a paragraph that includes converting all employees to biometric, but the biggest problem we have is the government's lack of seriousness in dealing with it, given that it is composed of parties that in turn do not want to address this file, so the problem of aliens will remain unresolved."
