{Economic: Al Furat News} The Parliamentary Financial Committee reassured the employees that their salaries would not be affected by the large financial deficit in the financial budget for the year 2023.
Committee member Jamal Cougar said: "We will work to reduce the large financial deficit in the budget," stressing that "this deficit does not pose any danger to the salaries of employees and retirees, and these salaries are fully insured."
He added, "The Parliamentary Finance Committee has many observations about the paragraphs and articles of the budget law, and it will work to make amendments to the law according to the powers vested in the House of Representatives."
He pointed out, "After the first reading of the budget law, we are currently working on studying and writing a report on the law and notes regarding the spending chapters in the law, after which this report will be discussed in the parliament session, which is hoped to be held in the coming days, and the budget is expected to be approved in the middle of the month."
