Shafaq News/ The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, called, on Tuesday, the Faili Kurds to unite their word in order to obtain their rights and remove the injustice they were subjected to at the hands of the former regime.
This came in a speech delivered on his behalf by his representative, Abdullah Aliyawai, at the International Scientific Conference on Genocide against the People of Kurdistan (genocide of the Faili Kurds) held in the city of Erbil.
"The Faili Kuds were the first victims of the Baath regime, but they did not receive a proper level of justice and their cause was not taken care of at the political, social and media levels," Aliawai said.
The representative of the Iraqi president addressed the Faili Kurds, saying, "It is very important that you unite your word to achieve your demands and in order to achieve your desired goals, which fall on everyone."
