"EarthLink is the first Iraqi company to participate in this summit, represented by its CEO, Alaa Jassim, who delivered a speech entitled (Building a digital ecosystem ready for the future)," the company's spokesman, Mustafa Saadoun, said in a statement.
He added, "Participation in this global summit, in which large companies such as (Google - General Electric - Toyota - Samsung) and other large companies participate, is an achievement for Iraq on both the public and private sectors."
Saadoun indicated, "This participation aims to develop the infrastructure of the Internet and communications sector in Iraq, and it is not a traditional participation. Rather, EarthLink was a sponsor and keynote speaker at the summit, which was attended by the most prominent communications and engineering personalities in the world, and we seek through participation to develop the service provided to users." and development of Iraqi human resources.
Also participating in the summit was the Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Transportation and Communications Committee, Ibrahim Mirani, who said in a press statement that "Iraq's participation in the Organization of Telecommunications Engineers summit held in the United States of America will have a great impact on the reality of communications and digital infrastructure in Iraq. It is noteworthy that the summit is one of the
