    Economy News - Baghdad
On Saturday, the Federal Integrity Commission revealed the "complicity" of the General Company for Agricultural Supplies in the "waste" of nearly 20 billion dinars, while noting that its procedures resulted in the payment of more than 300 million dinars that were owed by a borrower who defaulted on payments in Karbala.

And the Commission’s Investigation Department reported, “A team has moved from the Karbala Investigation Office to the Agricultural Equipment Directorate in the governorate, for the purpose of investigating and investigating violations committed by the General Company for Agricultural Supplies - Contracts Department within the campaign of receiving and marketing dates for the year 2014,” indicating that “they have been audited The contract concluded with a general trade company to transfer dates from the stores of the branches of the General Company for Agricultural Supplies in the governorates (Baghdad, Anbar, Babil, Diyala, Karbala, and Salah al-Din) to the military units in the Ministry of Defense and the Popular Mobilization Forces.

The department added, in a statement, that “the transport company received dates from the warehouses in the aforementioned governorates and sold them in the commercial markets for its own account in collusion with the General Company for Agricultural Supplies, and paid the financial dues amounting to (19,751,912,115) billion dinars, despite the absence of evidence to support the receipt of the beneficiary. Or make sure of receipt and delivery, as well as not linking the receipts that support the delivery of dates to the military units and the popular crowd.

And she continued, "The team monitored the failure of the Agricultural Cooperative Bank in Basra to take the necessary measures to include the guarantor property to pay the debt of one of the borrowers who defaulted on paying the loan, the interest and the insurances that he owed for the benefit of the Agricultural Bank - Al-Hindiya branch, which lent him an amount of (270,000,000) million dinars," a sign That "the measures taken in the case, as a result of the follow-up, resulted in the payment of (318,000,000) million dinars to the bank, representing the entire loan amount, with interest and delay fines."
