The Investigation Department of the Integrity Commission announced the implementation of (4) separate seizures in the Basra Oil Company for cases of waste of public money and violations, confirming that it had monitored the waste of (50,000,000) million dollars.
The department stated in a statement, a copy of which was received by Mawazine News, that “the staff of the Basra Investigation Directorate, which was transferred to the Basra Oil Company, after investigation, monitored the waste of (50) million dollars after stopping a contract that the company concluded with the Italian company “Mammut” to recover the drowned person.” Amoria,” explaining that “the Italian company resorted to international arbitration; To demand compensation for the losses resulting from stopping the contract without legal justification.”

She added, "The owners revealed violations in three contracts for the Zubair Oil Field Operating Authority affiliated with the Basra Oil Company, pointing out that there were violations in the process of referring tenders and two contracts to the Italian company Eni, while the Zubair Field Operating Authority excluded one of the companies from the commercial offer for a tender."
