Amir Hossein Zamaninian, head of the Iranian delegation sent to attend the founding ceremony of OPEC, said today, Friday, that the member states of the organization seek to achieve stability in the global oil market.
The head of the delegation said in a speech delivered during the celebration in Baghdad that the sanctions imposed on Iran represent a disruption to energy supplies, and we will certainly overcome these sanctions.
He added that OPEC is the only organization that has had a global economic impact over the past years, adding that the positive impact of this organization on the global economy is clear to everyone, despite some political differences that arose here and there among the member states.
And the head of the Iranian delegation continued by saying, “OPEC and its allies have succeeded in preserving common principles and morals, and through them we continue our endeavor to achieve stability in the global oil market.”
