    Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, identified, on Tuesday, the investment opportunities in the country and the challenges facing the government. This came during his hosting of the Arab-British Chamber of Commerce, which is based in London.
    The seminar was attended by a large number of representatives of British companies, in addition to representatives of the British government and a number of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the United Kingdom.



    The Iraqi minister talked about the investment opportunities in Iraq and the challenges facing the Iraqi government represented by the cultural accumulation inherited over decades due to the successive central governments, which requires a double effort to address it and comply with the values ​​of democracy prevailing in modern Iraq.
    He also clarified the current government's program and its endeavor to diversify sources of income and not rely on oil as the only source, and it is determined to achieve this while taking into account climate changes and the need to find solutions to them.
    He referred to the current security conditions and the remarkable improvement in this aspect and what it provides of a suitable and encouraging environment for the entry of foreign companies into Iraq, calling on the British and European government agencies to review travel advice on their official websites.
