The head of the Federal Integrity Commission, Haider Hanoun, confirmed today, Thursday, that combating poverty and unemployment and ensuring a livelihood for decent citizens is a sacred goal for the government, noting that activating investment and the private sector are the most important tools for achieving that goal.
Hanoun said, during his speech at the forum held by the Commission in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Cairo, that “the interaction of the Federal Integrity Commission with the government program achieved unprecedented progress in combating corruption,” indicating that “one of the priorities of the government program is combating corruption and poverty, and that combating poverty It goes through activating investment and the private sector and providing safe climates for them to enter the labor market.”
He added, “Iraq is on the verge of promising investment opportunities, and reputable Egyptian companies must compete for them, especially after the Prime Minister’s announcement of the development road project,” noting that “granting investments to reputable companies contributes to preventing corruption, urging the owners of investment companies to take the initiative.” By notifying the Authority of cases of extortion that it may be exposed to, which contributes to cutting off corruption and protecting the economy.”

He pointed out that "the war of all types of Iraqi security forces against ISIS gangs was a war on behalf of the world and sisterly countries," calling for "investing the financial abundance and cash and gold reserves that attract investment, and benefiting from the investment companies of the Arab Republic of Egypt."
