Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani and his Azerbaijani counterpart, Parviz Shahbazov, discussed today, Thursday, the development of relations and joint cooperation.
The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs and Oil Minister Hayan Abdul-Ghani met in the Austrian capital Vienna, Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov," noting that "during the meeting, they discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries." In all fields, especially the oil and energy sector.
And Abdul-Ghani stressed, according to the statement, that "during the meeting, it was agreed to develop relations, cooperation and joint coordination," praising "the historical relations between the two friendly peoples, and their keenness to develop them into broader horizons and projects that serve common interests."
