Today, Thursday, the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, Ahmed Al-Asadi, confirmed the regulation of the presence of Iranian expatriate workers in Iraq .
And the ministry stated, in a statement received by the insider, that: “Al-Asadi met with the Iranian ambassador to Iraq, Muhammad Kazem Al Sadiq, and they discussed organizing joint work in accordance with Iraqi laws and legislation and in a way that serves the segments sponsored by the ministry.”
And she added, "The meeting discussed organizing the presence of Iranian expatriate workers in Iraq according to memorandums of understanding that are consistent with Iraqi laws and legislation regarding social security, activating joint committees, and achieving the ministry's endeavors towards optimal targeting to care for its segments."
For his part, Al Sadiq expressed his "readiness to open horizons of joint cooperation with Iraq, and to provide what serves the segments that fall under the umbrella of the Ministry's auspices," pointing to "his country's keenness to continue joint coordination and exchange of experiences between the two countries."
