Former MP Ghaleb Muhammad confirmed the intention of Kurdish companies working in the field of oil to file an international lawsuit against Erbil and Baghdad in the event that the export ban continues through the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

Muhammad told Al-Maalouma, "The oil produced in the region is no longer consumed after the decision to stop exporting through Turkey to the port of Ceyhan, and part of it is handed over to the federal government."
He added, "There are 6 Kurdish companies that stopped oil production after stopping exports from the region towards Turkey, and these companies intend to file a lawsuit abroad against Erbil and Baghdad in the event of continuing to stop exports."
And he indicated that "stopping oil exports through the region did not create any problem for the country, as production still exists and exports are also in the same quantities, but its destination has changed, as Baghdad is still committed to the OPEC agreement regarding the quantities produced and used internally and exported abroad." ended 25 n
