The media office of the Speaker of the House of Representatives stated in a statement, “The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad Al-Halbousi, received today a number of ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic missions from the European Union,” indicating that “the meeting dealt with the relations between Iraq and the European Union countries, and ways to enhance cooperation in a number of countries.” Areas, including those related to the economy, investment, and the human rights file.”
