    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Independent MP Mustafa Sanad, today, Sunday (September 17, 2023), harshly criticized the Prime Minister regarding granting the region a loan worth 800 billion dinars per month, in what he described as “irresponsible behavior” with the people’s money.
Sanad said in a blog post followed by “Baghdad Today”: “If the Council of Ministers votes today to grant the region a loan worth 800 billion dinars per month, it will have committed a major constitutional and legal mistake, and this action is considered an act of spending the people’s money to buy political acceptance from the party.”
He added: “The Prime Minister, the ministers, and the political leaders, the saying applies to you (the prince gave what he does not have), directing a question to the Integrity Commission: ‘What if a small employee violates the law and causes the waste of public money?’”
