    The State of Law Coalition commented, today, Monday, on the statement of the Gulf Cooperation Council regarding the Federal Court’s decision that the maritime navigation law with Kuwait was unconstitutional, while stressing that the border demarcation crisis with Kuwait is one of the consequences of the wrong policies adopted by the former regime in the previous era.  
    Coalition member Ibrahim Al-Sukaini said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The Iraqi people are not concerned with the mistakes committed by the previous regime in the war with Kuwait and the illegal agreements that were made in the past,” noting that “most of the decisions and agreements that were made in the previous era are American dictates.” "Purely."
    Al-Sukaini called on: “The government to form a fact-finding committee and collect information in order to resolve the issue of border demarcation from the State of Kuwait,” pointing out that “there are international contexts and treaties that Iraq will abide by in dealing with the new decisions in this file.”
    The coalition member concluded his speech, saying: “Iraq has its clear and official maritime borders before entering the war with Kuwait,” adding that “the border demarcation crisis with Kuwait is one of the consequences of the wrong policies that the former regime adopted in the previous era.”
    In an official statement, the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries accused the Federal Court of inaccurate information in deciding that the border demarcation agreement with Kuwait was unconstitutional.
    A member of the House of Representatives, Thaer Al-Jubouri, had revealed in an interview with the “Al-Ma’louma” Agency, that parliamentary signatures had been collected to bid farewell to the Federal Court’s decision that the Khor Abdullah Agreement that was concluded in 2013 with Kuwait was unconstitutional, while he stressed that Iraq is a country with its own sovereignty and the right to nullify internal decisions that It is not in the country's interest. Ended 25/day
