    Advisor to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki in the absence of any new
    agreement between the Iraqi and Kuwaiti Government on border demarcation
    between the two countries, noting that Ward is the application of UN
    Security Council resolution 338 of 1994 is binding on Iraq.

    said Fadhil Mohammed Jawad, told journalists, "any new agreement does
    not exist between the Iraqi and Kuwaiti Government regarding the
    demarcation of the border, and what flow is the maintenance of border

    resolution 833, which is binding on Iraq."

    are well aware of what the State does not apply UN Security Council
    resolutions", stating that "any alternative is not available to the
    Iraqi Government and the International Court is imprecise as not
    competent in this matter."

    And the Directorate of Safwan area on
    28 February criticized the past work of the Commission on maintaining
    Iraq border pillars and Kuwait with Iraqi officials and Kuwaiti
    nationals.

    Some criticized the political blocs and the local
    administration in Basra province, the demarcation of the boundary
    between Iraq and Kuwait, with some politicians demanded to convene an
    emergency session of Parliament to discuss the issue

    Legal Counsel confirmed to Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and the absence of any new agreement between the Iraqi and Kuwaiti government on the demarcation of the border between the two countries, pointing out that what is happening now is the application of UN Security Council resolution No. 833 for the year 1994 is binding on Iraq.
