    An official source reported, on Saturday, that the leaders of the Taqadum Party had taken over reconstruction projects, confirming the disappearance of more than 500 billion dinars from the treasury of the Anbar Governorate Office.

    The source said in a statement to the Maalouma Agency, “The Taqadum Party, led by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, which is in charge of managing Anbar’s affairs, has taken over the reconstruction projects in the province through the presence of government department directors who are paving the way for the process of facilitating the assignment of these projects to investment companies connected to the party’s leaders.” Amidst the anger and dissatisfaction of capital owners over the mechanism for distributing projects to companies in the governorate.”
    He added, "More than 500 billion dinars from the Food Security Law disappeared from the treasury of the Anbar Governorate Office with the facilitation and blessing of former Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, who at the time paved the procedures for the Taqadum Party to take over reconstruction projects and the sums that evaporated from the governorate's treasury, and their fate is not known until this hour." .
     He explained that "fake companies control the reconstruction projects in Anbar, and that most of the work carried out is poor and has not been held accountable by the local government because they are considered close to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi."
